How to disable content type summaries in Drupal

Some content types, such as the article content type, are configured to be displayed in a preview mode with a summary (teaser display). If the user wants to see the full article, they have to click on its name or the Read more link. If you want to, you can disable the summary so that the full text of the article is displayed automatically.

To do this you have to edit the settings of the content type. In this case it's the article content type. After you log in to the admin panel of your Drupal application, click on the Structure tab in the top navigation bar, on the page that opens click on Content types, and on the next one click on the manage display button for the particular content type (e.g. article). On the page that opens you'll see a table. Under the table there should be a link Custom Display Settings. Click on it and some options will appear. Unmark the checkbox for Teaser and click on the Save button at the bottom of the page. Then go back to the homepage to see the results. This will affect all articles.
