How to change the allowed file size of pictures uploaded by customers in PrestaShop

In PrestaShop you can allow customers the opportunity to customize products. One thing you can give them the chance to do is to upload images that can be used to customize a particular product. They can do this from the product page of your store's frontend.

By default, the allowed file size of the picture that they want to upload should not be greater than 131 kilobytes. If you want to, you can either increase or reduce the allowed file size. To do this, log in to your store's admin panel, click on the Preferences tab and then on the Products sub-tab. Scroll down the page and find the option labeled Maximum size of product pictures. In the field for that option you'll see the default allowed file size (in bytes). To change it, simply delete it and type the desired number. Then click on the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the change.
