How to set FireFTP to connect to your hosting account

FireFTP is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox. You can use it to connect to your hosting account through FTP (FTPS, SFTP). As Firefox itself, it's also free and runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. You can search for it by going to Tools>Add-ons in Firefox or from the Add-ons section of Mozilla's official site.

After you install it make sure you have created and FTP user from the FTP Usernames section of the Pixie control panel. To start FireFTP start Firefox, go to the Tools menu and find it there. After you open FireFTP select Create an account from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner, then in the Account Manager type your domain name in the Host field, and the name and password for your FTP user in the Login and Password fields. Click on OK and then on the Connect button right next to the drop-down menu.

Now you should have FireFTP connected to your account.
