How to set SmartFTP to connect to your hosting account
SmartFTP is an FTP client for Windows users. You can download it from the official site. It has a 30-day evaluation period after which you have to pay if you decide to continue using it.
After you download and install it, check whether you have created and FTP user, or create a new one from the FTP Usernames section of the Pixie control panel.
Then start SmartFTP, go to File>New Remote Browser and type your domain name in the Host field, and the name and password for the FTP user in the Username and Password fields. Click on OK and that's it, you should be connected to your account. You can set SmartFTP to display the files on you local computer from File>New Local Browser, or from the button in the upper right corner.
